Everything started in my home country of Honduras, helping my Mother so many times to prepare her homemade “chismol” in our family’s kitchen.
Through Señora Dixie Salsa, I now have the wonderful opportunity to share our family tradition with you as well!
Señora Dixie Salsa is still a staple in most meals we prepare, from Carne Asada to Pollo con Papas, over scrambled eggs, rice or meats, or used as a delicious marinade.
We use the freshest ingredients, including FRESH TOMATOES! (Not canned, like competitors!) Combined with all of our love and dedication, we strive to ensure that each and every bite is delicious! Add this low calorie, low sodium, gluten and preservative free salsa to your grocery list today.
I met Dixie this past Saturday at the North Hills Farmer’s Market. I have been eating the delicious salsa every day since then. Hands down, you have the BEST salsa EVER. Gracias.

Oh, this place! It’s quaint and happy and just wraps itself right around your heart. It speaks of a bygone era when people gathered on a bench outside their local crossroads country store for a cup of coffee and some gossip. And boy! Do these folks brew up a great cup of coffee!!! Owner Linda greets everyone by name and is as sweet as pie – which by the way, you can buy fresh-made in the little pie shop out back! Linda stocks lots of unusual local products that you won’t see everywhere, and her exceptional selection of reasonably priced wines and cheeses is not to be missed. This classy yet casual convenience store carries the usual drinks, snacks and ice cream, but so much more! Stop in for a cup of coffee and let the charm of this old-timey place just wash right over you. Such a great find, and well worth going out of your way for!
