DIXIE’S CROCK POT BEANS

Excellent black bean recipe using Dixie salsa
Ingredients
  • 1 Small bag of raw black beans
  • 2 spring onions
  • 5 Cloves of garlic
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions
  1. Wash raw black beans and spring onions.
  2. Add 10 cups of water and all the ingredients into the crock pot.
  3. Cook on high till beans are soft.

A delicious cold pasta salad.
Ingredients
  • 1 Box of penne pasta
  • 1 Jar of “Senora Dixie Salsa” (your choice of Mild, Medium, Hot)
  • 2 Medium zucchinis – chopped in small slices
  • ¼ Cup olive oil
  • 1 Bunch of Broccoli florets
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 4 Cloves garlic finely chopped

Instructions
  1. Boil pasta till “Al dente.” – (Not over cooked)
  2. In a frying pan, add olive oil and garlic.
  3. Fry garlic till lightly brown then add zucchini and broccoli.
  4. Fry for 3 minutes, set aside to cool.
  5. Put all ingredients in Pyrex and serve.

Chicken or beef tacos with corn or flour tortillas with 2 variations on meat preparation
Ingredients
  • 1 pound of chicken or beef cuts into strips
  • Corn or flour Tortillas
  • Señora Dixie Salsa (Hot/Medium/Mild)

Instructions
  1. Marinate and cook the meat as you desire.
  2. Heat the tortillas and add the meat (chicken or beef) and Señora Dixie Salsa on top.Yum!!!

Notes
1)You can marinate the meat using Señora Dixie Salsa. For best results leave it over nite in the fridge. 2)You can use left over grill meat and put it on the tortillas and add Señora Dixie Salsa to make them even faster.
